If so, we'd love to hear from you.This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any Aon's office in Latin America.**Aon is in the business of better decisions**: At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.**What the day will look like**: The People Matters Lead LatAm is responsible for:- Leading all aspects of employee relations (ER) services and deliveries across the region, including the team of consultants, who advise on: people policies, performance management, allegations and employee investigations, conflict resolution, organizational change, absence & wellbeing consultation, and regional/local employee relations consultation requirements.- Interacting with senior regional leadership - relaying key metrics and representing ER matters and trends.- Aligning on new requirements, provide feedback and input on existing scope, services, and process, and represent the trends and issues that arise within region.- Coordinating case resolution for sophisticated employee relations issues, and quality assurance and oversight for their team's services, collaborating, and support, ensuring that the team in handling issues follows relevant legislation and regulation.- Regularly interacting with People Partners, General Counsel, Employment Law, Compliance, Finance, and many other interdependent functions to ensure appropriate ongoing management on ER-related topics and initiatives as they arise.**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.- Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred in human resources, industrial relations, employee relations, employment law, counseling.- Certification desired: SPHR, GPHR, SHRM, or other global/regional HR.- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Strong leadership skills - ability to face-off with senior business leadership and lead and influence across all levels of the organization.- Significant experience and knowledge in advising on local employment laws and HR trends, handling case management, conflict resolutions and disciplinary management.- Strong advising skills working with a broad client base at various experience levels.- Can maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, can interpret large data sets and develop pattern recognition from many data sources
