.DescriptionThis position is a key leadership role within the MEU AMZL (Last Mile) Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team. The successful candidate will be an experienced Engineering Manager with proven end-to-end Program and Project Management skills, gained in a network environment. As a Regional Project Manager, you will play an instrumental role in setting direction and leading projects and programmes within RME Field, engaging with a range of functions including Global Reliability Team, Global Engineering Services / Field Engineering, the Senior RME Project Manager, Talent Acquisition, PxT, Finance, Supply Chain, WHS, ACES, Compensation and Benefits and Operations amongst others, addressing challenges with high potential for innovation across the organisation. You possess the ability to navigate through complex and ambiguous situations, distilling them down to clear, actionable steps.Key job responsibilitiesEngage senior stakeholders across the MEU and EU network, providing regular project progress updates.Set strategic direction and drive critical RME projects/programs, collaborating cross-functionally.Independently deliver robust end-to-end projects for the RME team.Manage the coordination, tracking, and implementation of centrally and regionally-driven network initiatives/actions, ensuring smooth transitions.Address complex network challenges with an innovative, customer-centric focus.Work closely with the Senior RME Project Manager to align on objectives and coordinate efforts.Establish effective processes and mechanisms to enable the RME team's success.Conduct team and organizational reviews, assessing key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.Define data-driven approaches to products and ways of working, driving evidence-based decision-making.Resolve business-critical and persistent problems, demonstrating a solutions-oriented mindset.Ability to travel regularly, at least 1 week per month.A day in the lifeA typical day for you as the Regional Project Manager involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical RME initiatives.
