Responsible for promoting and marketing Hexagon Metrology products in the corresponding region, increasing Hexagon Metrology's market share to be the number one or two in each product line offered, generating profit for the company through sales generated.
Job ResponsibilitiesSearch, find, develop, and maintain business opportunities in the assigned territory, in both existing and new accounts, to place Hexagon Metrology products:
New and used Coordinate Measuring MachinesUpgrades and SoftwareArticulated measuring armsLaser TrackersWhite Light SystemsVision SystemsTraining, consulting, measurement/programming servicesCreate, develop, maintain, and improve business relationships with key and strategic customers located in the assigned region.
Support and supervise Portable Specialists assigned to the region concerning commercial activities that are part of the sales process.
Identify, contact, and follow up on negotiations with key people within the client's organization.
Prepare and deliver professional quotes that fully meet the client's needs and expectations.
Perform professional demonstrations and presentations of Hexagon Metrology products to clients and prospects.
Support the factory and the client with all the required information at each stage of the sales process.
Support the client with all necessary information to achieve a successful installation on time and in form.
Generate and deliver:
Weekly Sales PlanWeekly and monthly status report of negotiationsWeekly expense reportOther reports and plans as requestedQualificationsEducation Higher Level: Bachelor's degree in a related field.Related fields: Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Administrative Mechanical Engineering.Experience 3-5 years in a similar position or in technical sales of industrial equipment.Knowledge – Special Skills Technical SalesExperience working with multinational companiesKnowledge of the manufacturing industry established in the designated regionExcellent written and spoken communicationKnowledge of our brand's dimensional metrology equipment or othersKnowledge of dimensional metrologyKnowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, machining, plastic injection, molding, assembly, etc.)All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
