**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Metcal Mexico Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the sales of Electronic Assembly Products in Mexico and is responsible for managing all sales processes, guiding distributors, and achieving sales targets.
**JOB DUTIES**:
- Sales of Metcal products within the assigned territory. This will be accomplished through networking, customer prospecting, managing manufacturer representatives, identifying direct opportunities with contract manufacturing and large OEMs, and partnering with distribution and other channel partners.
- Have a working knowledge of all products to enable demonstration of products to customers/sales representatives/distributors.
- Generate monthly sales and project reports for internal use.
- Analyze sales statistics to track and predict growth of Metcal brands.
- Develops, maintains, and improves business relations with customers of the Metcal brands.
- Identifies new customers and sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Metcal brands.
- Creating training and development programs for channel partners and customers.
- The position will require travel 2-3+ weeks per month.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Manages the direction and coordination of Metcal Sales in the assigned region.
- Carries out supervisory responsabilities in accordance with the company policies.
**WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
5+ years sales experience. Ideally with direct sales to contract manufacturing ans OEMs, soldering equipment and tools for electronics manufacturing.
**SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- Must possess initiative and drive; have broad sales, customer experience and proven record of sales growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Experience managing sales channel (Distribution/Sales Representatives).
- Ability to demonstrate products and find solutions utilizing technical skills.
- Effective and persuasive presentation skills.
- Must be ready for the next promotion to lead a sales team in Mexico.
- Good organizational and strategic selling skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Work level experience with Microsoft Windows Environments.
- Sound judgment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- Ideally located in Guadalajara, Mexico or Tijuana/Mexicali, or Mexico but must be located in Mexico.
