This position may require working outside traditional business hours.The **Mining Regional Sales Manager **will lead the mining sales team in the planning and execution of key sales strategies across the region. This includes establishing a market business plan which aligns with key corporate sales objectives and key initiatives. They will focus on leading their team with effective project management, account development, and distribution management.*****Responsibilities**:- Responsible and accountable for improving market penetration for the Victaulic Products, through effective Distribution Channels, Service Delivery, Training and Product familiarization- Understands and implements in a uniform fashion the Victaulic corporate strategy throughout the region.- Develops and implements a yearly business plan that achieves revenue, product and market forecasts and goals through a uniform management by objectives plan.- Focuses on key clients and on their need to change business models- Reaches targets for revenue on a relatively short-term basis.- Trains and manages his team in:- Thorough understanding of the construction process and how to influence decision makers at all levels.- Salesforce utilization and optimization- Manages the development of a balanced and effective distribution or key accounts network.- Investigates and makes recommendations about how to respond to market trends, competitor activity, etc.- Coordinates the activity of regional personnel with other Victaulic sales personnel to accomplish regional and corporate goals.- Manages monthly market business reports- Sales versus forecast measurements- Documenting and administering strategies and initiatives- Weekly activity reports and itineraries- Yearly game plan and forecasts- Quarterly goals and objectives- Accountable for developing standards of performance for the sales team and periodically analyze and evaluates individual performance.**Qualifications** (education, experience, personal attributes)**:- University graduate; graduate degree desirable.- Previous sales management experience.- Experience within the Mining market space- Willing and capable of travel up to 50% or more- Must carry a current Passport and VISA- Fluent with speaking and writing English- Ability to successfully manage change to support the attainment of corporate goals and objectives.- Ability to successfully train, manage and motivate people; team builder.- Thoroughunderstanding of business fundamentals - sales, marketing, financial analysis, etc.
