**Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for Supply Chain key metrics - i.e. inventory turns, fill rate, excess & obsolete inventory, etc. ensuring optimal customer service and corporate policy compliance for multiple countries.
- Responsible for managing item planning parameters including but not limited to lead time, MOQ, safety stock, etc.
- Owner of SKU management (+1,000 items) and rationalization including new product introductions, transitions and lifecycle management.
- Act as main point of contact with vendors allowing them visibility of regional initiatives in order to ensure timely supply of products.
- Run and manage the MPS, approving and optimizing the purchase plan and inventory projections for each country in the region, including the reallocation of goods when necessary.
- Follow-up on purchase orders placed to suppliers to ensure on time availability on the countries.
- Perform continuous maintenance of planning parameters and update as needed.
- Act as the main point of contact with Regional Marketing, gathering information regarding new trends, seasonality, events management, product life cycle and others that might have an impact on the supply plan and adjust accordingly to avoid service failures.
- Own and manage the planning systems and tools
- Align with Planning Manager & Country Manager in order to meet the inventory goals at the country level.
- Effectively communicate with demand planners to ensure new initiatives and products are properly recorded and timely reflected in the supply plan in order to avoid disruptions.
- Provide FOB prices from Vendors to support OP Plan process.
- Track the vendor shipment performance (to develop a metric/report).
**Experience required**:
- Experience working with suppliers in Asia and US. Have worked for Latin America.
- At least 5 years of experience in a consumer goods or similar industry, having managed product portfolios of more than 1,000 SKUs in supply replenishment and purchasing planning roles.
