**Job Title**: Registered Nurse (RN) for Private Care
**Job Type**: Full-Time/Live In

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing medical equipment such as G-tubes and tracheostomies.
- Perform lifting and mobility assistance for the patient, who weighs approximately 105 pounds.
- Administer subcutaneous injections of DDAVP and manage the care related to diabetes insipidus, ensuring accurate treatment and monitoring.
- Administer medications via G-tube and provide daily G-tube care, including cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Perform tracheostomy care, including cleaning, suctioning, and ensuring proper function.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers.
- Monitor the patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Educate the patient and family on health management, medication adherence, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following all healthcare protocols and guidelines.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the patient, fostering a positive and comfortable atmosphere.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of the patient's health status, treatment plans, and progress.
- Assist in accompanying the patient to medical appointments as needed.
- Be prepared for international travel, ensuring all necessary medical supplies and documentation are available.
- Work with the patient's legal and medical teams to ensure compliance with international health regulations and travel requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in (Insert State/Region).
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with specific experience in young adult or home health care.
- Complete understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes insipidus, including administering subcutaneous injections of DDAVP.
- Proficiency in G-tube care, trach care, and administration of medications via G-tube.
- Ability to lift and assist a patient weighing approximately 105 pounds.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong understanding of medical procedures, pharmacology, and nursing best practices.
- Passport and visa to the USA; ability and willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with home healthcare or private duty nursing.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with international travel and healthcare logistics.
**Working Conditions**:
- Flexible hours, including potential for evening, weekend, or overnight shifts.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and assist the patient with mobility as needed.
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally as part of the job duties.
