As a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator you will perform a variety of legal activities within one or sevaeral specialized sub-functions in accordance with the established standards of the legal profession to protect the organisation's reputation and business interests and help ensure it complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Prepares and/or reviews contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents to ensure legal compliance.**Core Responsibilities**:Review, analyze, compile and/or propose regulatory and scientific responses to internal and external requests related to our existing portfolioMonitor, assess and interpret regulatory activities and provisions, such as DOF (Official Mexican Journal), CONAMER (National Commission for Regulatory Improvement) as well as international sources to evaluate potential impact on the CompanyCreate and maintain a regulatory compliance database of the Ingredion core and specialties portfolio, focused on the NA region (USA, Canada, Mexico), Central America and the CaribbeanCreate and maintain Safety Data Sheet for existing and innovation products, being the Hazox user lead for Mexico and Central AmericaMonitor and interpret trending ingredients and their uses in different food categories. Inform of opportunities and/or regulatory statusSupport the Regulatory Affairs Coordinator in regulatory and technical presentations for the business. Actively participate in innovation meetings providing regulatory updatesComplete customer specifications and questionnaires for our existing portfolio.Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or Engineering or equivalent work experience1 to 2 years' experience in the food industry, specifically in the area of Scientific and Regulatory AffairsFamiliar with Mexican regulations and its regulatory environment.
