They have streamlined and simplified the process of property management so that their associations could thrive.The Staff Accountant is a skilled position responsible for complying with all the accounting processes and GAAP.**The main activities for this position are**:- Prepare bank reconciliations, expense accruals, and journal entries for a portfolio of clients.- Review general ledger account activity to ensure financial statement accuracy and adherence to accounting policies.- Produce monthly financial statements (Balance sheet, P&L, income statement) and internal/external reports as needed/requested by upper management for approval.- Demonstrate a solid understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties required to drive consistent implementation of best practices- Prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once, particularly during month and year-end.- Assist in operating projections, analysis, and annual budgeting.- Partnering with the AR and AP team to ensure accuracy of their inputs into General Ledger.- Review PL, compare budget, and identify variance.**SCHEDULE**:Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 CST MEX**WE OFFER**:- Competitive salary.- Remote Work and equipment.- Twelve days of Vacation at the year mark.- Vacation Bonus.- 30-Day Aguinaldo.- Mayor Medical Insurance.- Minor Medical Insurance.- Food Tickets (2000 MXN per month).- Restaurant Tickets (10% gross monthly salary).- Savings Fund.- Work Stability.**Requirements**:- **MUST: Advanced spoken English and accounting vocabulary knowledge in English**:- Around 2 to 3 years of experience working in a similar position.- Bachelor in Accounting or any Finance related.- Experience within a GBS or shared service center is desired.- Experience working with multiple accounts.- Strong communication skills in writing in English.- Understanding of accrual accounting and US GAAP- Advanced Excel.
