.Scale's GenAI Pilots Manager is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality pilot projects to our customers. As a vital part of the Scale team, each GenAI Pilots Manager collaborates closely with the operations team assigned to a specific project. Their primary responsibilities include onboarding, auditing, and coaching contributors to help them achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional work.This role sits in our GenAI Operations team, and your role will combine the knowledge of a software engineer with the hustle and muscle of an operator. The ideal candidate is scrappy, detail-oriented, empathetic, outcome-focused, and a strong communicator.In this role, you will:Set up data pipelines, evaluate the quality of AI-generated tasks, and troubleshoot operational problems to attain pilots' SLAs (i.E., Service Level Agreements).Build ground truth datasets and work on the infrastructure setup to train Large Language Models.Identify the right contributor profile and develop onboarding and enablement material for contributors to scale up pipelines.Build and drive new and existing operational processes.Query databases and analyze data to identify bottlenecks and maintain optimal throughput.Ideal candidates have:Experience managing projects, preferably in a Project Manager role, with a strong understanding of project planning, execution, and team coordination.A degree in one of the related fields: Engineering, Administration, Physics, Chemistry, Law, or Philosophy.
