We take a commonsense approach to underwriting, providing comprehensive in-house services to ensure a seamless loan process.**Responsibilities**:- Assess the credit standings of applicants through background research- Gather all necessary documentation from potential borrower such as bank statements, tax returns, drivers license, credit report, previous deal history, etc- Work with title agent and attorney to review title policy and loan documents- Save all documents and executed settlement statements in appropriate folders.- Interview applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan or mortgage- Conclude on all applicable financial and non-financial criteria and develop loan repayment plans- Follow up with clients on outstanding documentation/action items**Requirements**:- Proven working experience in a Loan Processor role- Good knowledge of the industry- Comprehension of direct/indirect lending procedures- In-depth understanding of relevant rules and regulation- Extremely detail oriented- Excellent communication and sales skills- Balance between customer satisfaction orientation and a result driven approachMHML is an equal opportunity employer.
