As our shop production coordinator, you will build and maintain our work schedules for the purpose ofmeeting our overall production targets. You will determine the availability of resources and establishstart/stop dates for jobs based on current conditions. Your daily tasks will require you to interface withvarious groups and facilitate communication between departments as work orders are released to theshop floor.This role is also responsible for coordinating with our vendors to schedule sublet procedures. You willwork with our transportation department to plan deliveries and pickups as well as negotiate withsubcontractors to ensure they meet their target goals.Phone calls. Strong communication skills are required. Occasional travel for training may be necessary.Assigned Duties- Maintain internal work order scheduling system to reflect current information for alldepartment work schedules.- Revise production schedule as needed due to work order changes, labor or materials shortages,backlogs, or other interruptions.- Collaborate effectively with department supervisors to monitor progress of work and compilereports on WIP levels, costs, and production problems.- Ensure that all scheduled work is completed on time to meet overall deadlines.- Audit unit inventory reports and work with counters to resolve discrepancies- Work with vendors to schedule and update sublet work.- Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Analysis- Support ongoing Continuous Improvement initiatives.**Requirements**:- Strong English language skills, both written and spoken- Confident speaking in front of groups and providing direction- 2+ years production scheduler, dispatch, logistics, or project coordinator experience.- College degree in business, manufacturing, supply chain or related field preferred- Software aptitude: must be able to work with spreadsheets, word processors, ERPs, schedulingsoftware- Strong time management skills- Strong analytical skills- Ability to work independently and effectively- Commitment to process and the ability to adhere to and enforce standards- Demonstrate good judgment and teamwork- Experience with video conference meetings- PMP or APIC certification a plus- Prior job shop experience a plusTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: Hasta $18,000.00 al mesHorario:- Diurno- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Seguro de gastos médicos mayoresTipos de compensaciones:- Bono anualLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
