**YOUR DAY**
As a Renewal Specialist - Underwriter, you play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for applicants and residents. You meticulously qualify applicants, conduct background checks, and guide them through the approval process with ease. Your attention to detail ensures properties remain available, and you coordinate move-in logistics, welcoming new tenants warmly. Managing annual renewals, fostering positive relationships with owners and residents, and handling inquiries with efficiency are all part of your responsibilities. Your dedication contributes to our goal of maintaining a renewal rate of 70% or higher!
**REQUIREMENTS**
- 3+ years of experience working in the real estate/leasing field
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Ability to work and communicate with people in varying disciplines with different backgrounds
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A college degree and experience with Propertyware are preferred but not required.
