**Position**: Engineering Manager, Repair Products**Direct Manager**: Product Director, Repair Products**Location**:Monterrey, Mexico**Job Description/ Summary**:- Assisting Product Director with Developing Product Specifications / Test Standards- Facilities and Personnel Management- Ability to manage and adapt to multiple automotive product lines and work streams- New Product Development, Launches (NPI), Identifying & Resolving Technical Issues- Support Production as assigned with technical analysis, cost reduction, consolidation, design revisions and product validation testing.- Project Management and Project Tracking- Executive Reporting and Dash boarding- Assist with the Creation of New Controlled Documents to Drive Progress- Interface with purchasing, manufacturing facilities. Local (USA) and abroad- Develop internal timelines and ensure projects meet customer and/or internal timelines.- Must be able to understand and work with foreign companies and different cultures**Minimum Experience Required**:- BA, Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Preferred)- 5+ Years Prior Related Work Experience in Industrial Manufacturing, Auto Aftermarket / OE Product Engineering, Product Development, Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing)- Prior Management experience within a Fast-Paced, Self-Starting Environment**Universal Expectations**/**Knowledge/Skills**- Required - Bi-Lingual (ESP/ENG) Strong Interpersonal, Communication & Problem-Solving Skills- Microsoft Office 365 suite fluency- Ability to Travel within the Mexico and possibly USA (required up to 25%)- Knowledge of automotive mechanical products - Service parts preferredFirst Brands Group is a proud equal opportunity employer.
