**Representante de Produccion de semilla de Brasicas y Hojas Verdes****Your task and Responsabilities**:Ensure that third parties pre-work is done before the start of each production cycle and grower is prepared to start the production within the optimum sowing window (land preparation, irrigation system in place, seedlings with good quality, etc.
)Supervise sowing/ planting of company stock seed, accuracy of planting rate, date, depth, ensure that labeling is correct during sowing and transplant, and securing of all leftover stock.Responsible for supporting activities e.G., timely stock seeds shipment to grower, arrangements of harvesting, threshing and drying.Ensure that timely visit of crops at all stages of crop cycle to monitor crop development.Discuss and advise growers to adopt best practicesto maximize seed yield and quality.Production Data collection and Analysis.Review quantity, quality, base rates, cost and timeliness data and address areas for improvement, simplification, optimization or expansion of our business, including Grower Performance analysis.
QMS and Continuous Improvements.Root Cause and Corrective ActionUtilizes process of root cause analysis to review crops below or above expectations and corrective action steps needed.CAR/PAR follow-up House Keeping Ensures site is maintained in a professional manner always.Any seed, trash, materials and equipment must be disposed according to Bayer policies and federal, state and local compliance requirements in a timely manner Assure and monitor seed shipments from production to plant operations based on the schedule.
Innovation.Work with Seed Production Specialist, Filed Quality and Production Research personnel to identify and address projects to improve reliability, quality, and/or cost.
Implement / share / promote new techniques or procedures among growers and gains their acceptance.Works with internal and external stakeholders (when needed) to understand new innovated techniques and methods.Sharing Best Practices - Ensures an environment of open communication among production areas and willingly shares production information within and across our regions.
Ensure external and internal compliance in our operations, including HSE, Human Rights, Business conduct and QMS.
**Who you are**:Bachelor/Engineering degree on agriculture or related science 3-6 years experience on seed technology industry and/or vegetable productionStrong human relation skills and effective communication skills, preferred English skills Intermediate, Advanced (Desirable).Experience in leading teams, preferred.
Process Oriented and Results Orientated Strong technical knowledge on vegetable and or seed production.
