.Your task and Responsibilities:Ensure that third parties pre-work is done before the start of each production cycle and grower is prepared to start the production within the optimum sowing window (land preparation, irrigation system in place, seedlings with good quality, etc.
).Supervise sowing/planting of company stock seed, accuracy of planting rate, date, depth, ensure that labeling is correct during sowing and transplant, and securing of all leftover stock.Responsible for supporting activities e.G., timely stock seeds shipment to grower, arrangements of harvesting, threshing, and drying.Ensure timely visits of crops at all stages of crop cycle to monitor crop development.Discuss and advise growers to adopt best practices to maximize seed yield and quality.Production data collection and analysis.Review quantity, quality, base rates, cost, and timeliness data and address areas for improvement, simplification, optimization, or expansion of our business, including Grower Performance analysis, QMS, and Continuous Improvements.Utilize the process of root cause analysis to review crops below or above expectations and corrective action steps needed.Ensure site is maintained in a professional manner always, including proper disposal of seed, trash, materials, and equipment according to Bayer policies and federal, state, and local compliance requirements.Assure and monitor seed shipments from production to plant operations based on the schedule.Work with Seed Production Specialist, Field Quality, and Production Research personnel to identify and address projects to improve reliability, quality, and/or cost.
Implement, share, and promote new techniques or procedures among growers and gain their acceptance.Work with internal and external stakeholders (when needed) to understand new innovative techniques and methods.Ensure an environment of open communication among production areas and willingly share production information within and across our regions.
