About The Position We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Associate for the Impact Study of Employability Skills (WSN) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a validation study to assess the outcomes of WSN's initiatives, with a specific focus on placement rates and job satisfaction among participants. This role requires strong research skills, data management expertise, and the ability to handle qualitative data collection independently.
Responsibilities Support in research designing: Assist in the design and development of the research study, including the creation of research instruments, protocols, and methodologies for interviews. Independently handle qualitative data collection process through phone conversations: Conduct phone interviews and other qualitative data collection methods with participants to gather in-depth insights. Hold research operations (Data collection and management): Oversee and manage the entire data collection process, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data collected. Ensure data quality during the process: Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and validity of the data collected. Analyze data to generate insights and reports: Perform comprehensive data analysis to extract meaningful insights and produce detailed reports on the study's findings.
Requirements Education: Preferably, a Master's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Public Policy, or a related field. Experience: Previous experience in robust data collection exercises for qualitative information (all stages: collecting, validating, systematizing and analyzing). Skills: Strong qualitative research skills, including experience with data collection through interviews. Proficiency in data management and analysis. Fluent in English and local language, Bangla Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Attributes: Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data quality. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
