The Research Director ensures the execution of the business strategy by managing, coaching, and mentoring the research team. Without this pivotal role, the strategic continuity and future growth of the business could be compromised.The Research Director's leadership is instrumental in reinforcing MetrixLab-Toluna's market presence and ensuring the delivery of high-quality research services. This role not only demands a thorough command of market research practices but also a forward-looking approach to shaping the future of MetrixLab-Toluna in the region.Key Deliverables:Upholding best practices across the region and achieving all targets, ensuring the business is primed for continued growth.Engaging clients at all levels to add value and articulate business and sector issues effectively.Actively contributing to the company's commercial strategy through insightful input on business proposals and pitches.Responsibilities:Client management: Takes full responsibility for the team's portfolio of clients, including a personal set of key accounts. Ensures the client experience surpasses expectations in timing and deliverables, offers consultative advice, and delivers engaging presentations.Project excellence: Drives quality and excellence across all projects to achieve revenue goals. Leverages a deep understanding of the sector to align the Toluna Group's solutions with client needs, coaching others to do the same.Sector expertise: Develops and maintains a strong positioning in sector research practice, contributing to proposals, pitches, and research plans that highlight MetrixLab-Toluna's expertise.Team leadership: Coaches and develops team members, fostering professional growth and managing workloads and staffing needs in collaboration with senior team members.Your Profile:A solid track record of at least 10+ years in marketing research, managing full project lifecycles, and offering actionable insights.Mastery in designing and interpreting complex research methodologies.Advanced experience in team leadership, nurturing talent, and steering teams towards collective success.Excellent command of English, aligning with global operations and local market nuances.Strong listening, oral, and written communication skills – able to understand, interpret, clarify and confirm the requests and needs of others
