As a Reservations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting our guests with their reservations and ensuring a seamless booking experience.
Excellent written and verbal English skills, proficiency in Cloudbeds or similar reservations system, and a strong command ofMicrosoft Office and Excel are essential for this position.
**Responsibilities**:Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the company's services, policies, and promotions.Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain a thorough understanding of the reservation system and utilize it effectively to manage bookings.Handle guest inquiries and escalate any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and concierges, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.Prepare and send booking agreements to direct reservations, ensuring all necessary details and terms are included.Collect payments for deposits and balances on reservations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
**Reporting Structure**:The Reservations Specialist will report to the Reservations Manager and the Sales andMarketing Director who oversees the reservations department and provides guidance and support to the team.
**Requirements**:Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.Proven experience as a Reservations Specialist or in a similar Reservations role.Proficiency in using Cloudbeds or similar reservations system.Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.A friendly and customer-oriented attitude.Able to work weekends and some holidays.
