Resident Application Design Engineer

**STONERIDGE****Solicita**:RESIDENT APPLICATION DESIGN ENGINEER****Descripción y Requisitos****JOB SUMMARY**:**This person filling this position is responsible for the effective and timely development of mechanical components and assemblies accomplished by working closely with external and internal customers, suppliers, and peers. As well as supporting our customers with onsite diagnostic and SW updates on electronic modules via supplied interface hardware**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred, but nationally recognized trade skills with supplementary education in 3D design /manufacturing disciplines would be considered- Experience in design for, die casting, sheet metal fabrication. plastic (injection molding),- Proficiency in CREO Parametric.- Proven experience in: (automotive or motorsport industry experience preferred)- Use of GD&T- Tolerance stack ups- Microsoft Office tools- Problem solving tools- Low volume Manufacturing processes- Design for assembly /Design to cost disciplines- Fluent oral/written communications skills in English and Spanish.- Excellent organizational and time management as well as strong analysis-based decision-making skills.- Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible.- Strong attention to detail.10. Able to travel to customer installation sites within USA - 40% travel11. Enthusiastic and self-motivated.12.
