**Project description**:
**Responsibilities**:
Install, configure, and commission test probes at designated offices
Diagnose and troubleshoot system and customer reported issues related to system performance, functionality, or installation/upgrades across Spirent Lumos solution including network switch types Cisco and Nokia
Report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs of solution to Spirent support team
Manage and track trial progress with Spirent's project manager and through internal systems
Position will require some travel and potentially on-site Customer support
Participate on cross functional teams to help validate software releases and installation prior to General Availability release.
Provide general support to users along with informal product education
Prepare and present project documentation as per agreements within the project plan. Documentation may include test plans, project status updates, and installation and configuration procedures, along with Method of Procedures (MOP)

Must have
Must be experienced in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging issues related to Ethernet technologies around service activation turn-up and troubleshooting

Ability to interpret ethernet testing results around RFC-2544, RFC6349, Y.1564, and TWAMP, and KPI's associated latency, loss, and jitter
Unix skills including experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting UNIX based issues, specifically knowledge with Linux in a client / server architecture.
Strong team player with the ability to handle a fast-paced, dynamic environment handling multiple assignments and working maintenance hours with clients.
Excellent communication and writing skills, including creating of Method of Procedures (MOP) as required
Nice to have
Cisco 907 and Nokia/ALU 7750 and 7705 switch experience preferred
