Purpose: We are looking for a Planner to support the cross functional teams in assortment planning, forecasting and analytics. The ideal candidate will possess the passion to drive business using data and analysis, should be flexibe to address rapidly changing priorities, strong collaboration and communication skills and an innovative drive to improve processes, tools and methodologies. In this role, you will help advise how to make smarter decisions about the product we have on site and optimize our assortment for maximum top line and bottom-line impact.
Key Results: Key Responsibilities: Partnering with Merch team to develop insights that will help to set strategic priorities and sourcing strategy Create seasonal, quarterly and monthly assortment plans for sales, margin and inventory at a category level Analyze historical data and current trends on a Monthly basis to identify risks and opportunities Build assortment plans and replenishment strategies Build and maintain strong partnerships across ALL cross functional teams Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, business intelligence and maintenance Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for data analysis. Job Requirements: Minimum Education Required: Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Retail, Marketing or related field Years and Type of Experience Required : +3 years retail planning experience or wholesale environment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required : Strong Excel skills essential - Complex Formulas, Pivot Tables, etc . Outstanding analytical skills Comprehensive understanding of retail Mexico market Strong influencing and stakeholder management experience Experience working across multiple business platforms, including owned and partner businesses Ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business Familiarity with merchandise products and forecasting methods/Platforms Supply Planning experience or understanding, Inventory and capacity principles and techniques Attention to details with ability to flex during crunch time Proactive, positive approach to problem solving Strong communication skills, including the ability to quickly synthesize information in a digestible format for a wide variety of stakeholders While most requirements are essential to be successful in the job, some requirements may be further developed in the role over time via a development plan.
