We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Revenue Accountant to join our team, someone who is passionate about delivering quality results and is ready to grow with us. In this role, you'll take charge of key Accounting and Finance tasks, including Sales, COGS, Gross Margin, Revenue Recognition, Receivables, Credit and Collections, and Sales Tax. You'll also contribute to important Finance Department projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity in your work as you prepare, reconcile, verify, and present financial information both internally and within our corporate group.What you'll be doing:Developing and maintaining revenue recognition and invoicing processesTracking deferred revenue and forecasting revenue recognition under ASC 606, performing prior period variance analysis and annotated reportingVerifying compliance with contract terms, schedules, and agreementsPreparing, reconciling, and verifying accounting information to contribute to accuracy and timeliness of the Company's financialsProviding high quality, timely support and problem resolution for the organization's goals and financial resultsProviding support for the annual auditBuilding and maintaining ongoing inter and intra-departmental working relationships to assist team members and focus on driving team and organizational goalsProcess Improvement and Project ManagementOther tasks and duties as assignedWhat you'll bring to the table:2-5 years previous experience; project-based ASC 606 accounting experience strongly preferredBachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience; Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferredCPA License strongly preferred and CGMA designation preferredHigh level of ethical integrityAbility to work in a fast-moving environmentStrong knowledge of ERP accounting software required; Jamis Prime experience is a plusComfortable making decisions with imperfect information, exchanging ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions, or solutionsAbility to effectively present information on a regular basis to management, and others as needed.
