.**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**Work as a business partner for the Canada RGM Team, by providing key commercial insights, thus assisting in ensuring that the end market growth activities supply to the financial success and effective prioritization decisions are made across the value chainThis role, along with RGM Pricing Strategy team, will handle pricing and promotion optimizations, leading to account level analysis, such as predictive analytics and post implementation results, while working in a cross functional way with Trade, SP&I Brand Marketing and Finance. This role will support the RGM analytics projects; ensure activity design aligns with RGM, retailer and trade marketing strategy and provide oversight to ensure quality of execution.The analyst will help support the Canadian brands and positioning strategies by using big data and advanced analytics while collaborating with internal and external customers. Conduct analytics that will provide data insights to drive share growth and improve the return on investment. Develop performance tools and measures to help see opportunities and deliver recommended program optimizations at Retail.**Accountabilities**- Serve as an extension of the RGM Team with an understanding of the business and how to enable balanced net revenue growth.- Execute business tracking metrics and reporting routines that will enable the RGM team to generate key insights.- Contributing to continually to improving business performance by conducting analysis and developing insights to drive velocity and net revenue growth.- Provide the gathering, preparation, validation and cleansing of different sources of information.- Assume a supporting role as part of the analytics team as it applies to data requirements, data validation, schematics quality, and overall merchandising plans for assigned projects.- Optimally communicate data analysis to key customers regardless of geographic and/or cultural differences.- Develop a deep understanding of pricing and promotion strategies, internal processes, and overall technical requirements.- Work collaboratively with external/internal partners to develop and deploy Revenue Growth Management strategies and tactics for the Tobacco and new categories.**Experience Required**- At least 1 year of professional experience, experience in revenue management, category management, pricing, promotions, customer planning or sales strategy.- Proficient in English, written and spoken.- Knowledge and experience in extracting, validating, and reviewing performance data.- Time management as results will enforce to deadlines.- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written, to have the appropriate level of interaction with customers with required follow-ups.**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**- Able to work with technical analysis such as regressions, clustering, classification, dimensionality reduction, collaborative filtering
