Risk Analyst

The Global WPB NFR Centre Of Excellence Utility plays an important role in enabling WPB to operate within its risk appetite, grow safely by ensuring efficient and effective risk and control management.
In WPB, one of our key strategic aims is to enable our customers to 'bank in their pocket' moving at speed and scale across all markets to provide more products and services 'digital'.
As with all innovation, there are potential risks to mitigate, and we must ensure that new products and services are safe, efficient, genuinely transformative and do not lead to increased risk.Principal Accountabilities:Enforcing robust standards for our risk and control assessments and providing feedback to NFR role holders when deficiencies are identified so that remediation activity is undertaken.Supporting Control Owners by conducting high quality and efficient reviews of our control design and performance.Leading 'deep dives' and read across activities so sustainable mitigants and control improvements can be identified.Driving a positive risk culture, raising awareness and understanding of risks, controls, and risk management.Continuously improving the control and monitoring of risk.SkillsGraduate in any discipline with a strong academic background.Demonstrable knowledge in control testing and risk management of financial crime and regulatory compliance risks, internal control, or internal audit preferably within a financial/banking services operations environment.Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in control testing in the Financial Service industry/Process assessment experience.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).Self-starter and effective collaborator.Advanced Intermediate English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
