The Total Roadload Horsepower (TRLHP) Engineer works on global programs to deliver program specific roadloads for chassis dyno testing that support Corporate environmental compliance strategies.- YOUR IMPACT:- Deliver TRLHP specifications at key program milestones that enable emissions certification and fuel economy processes for Ford North America (NA) programs.- Use program definition tools to identify program specific content and buildable combinations.- Work with Vehicle Energy Management Engineering and Subject Matter Experts to align on data inputs and final roadload chart values.- Support senior management reviews as needed and lead internal governance reviews for roadload chart approvals and releases.- Deliver TRLHP specifications and Validation Reports for China, Asia Pacific and new markets consistent with our brand strategy in order to support Asia Pacific homologation process.- Lead processes to validate roadload specifications with pre- and post-production vehicle road load validation testing and component testing to support the NA and China Markets.- Develop and maintain procedures to document robust processes.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or related engineering degree.- Experience planning and managing complex programs/projects from initiation to completion.
