**SUMMARY**
The Specialist position works in the Transport Operations department and will perform daily activities related to transportation.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
**LTL**:
- Identify mayor exceptions on LTL Tracking (missed PU +2 days, missed deliveries +2 days) and communicate with LTL carriers to keep the freight moving.
- Communicate with LTL carrier to confirm capacity for urgent pickup loads.
- When needed, correct BOLs to keep the freight moving.
- Follow up on OS&D loads.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
General education degree (GED); at least one year experience related to consol transport, logistics and international loads; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**LANGUAGE SKILLS**
Fluent English and Spanish language (writing and speaking).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
