KEY TASKSOperation:
Part of the upcoming operational activities with the ROV spreads and advice as required.Part of the operation, repair and maintenance of the ROV spreads, including and not limited to:
ROVTMSWinchesROV handling systemCCTV systemsCommunications systemsPLSHydraulic systemsMechanical systemsROV ToolingROV SensorsEnsuring relevant equipment-related matters are brought to the attention of the ROV Supervisor; Notify when Companytechnical documentation is considered as required to be updated, i.E.
operation and maintenance manuals, drawings, circuit diagrams, hydraulic schematics, etc.Timely maintain the ROV spread to the highest standards; Employ logical fault finding techniques during breakdown situations; Assisting in commissioning, testing and monitoring of appropriate equipment as required; Adhere to the standardised shift hours for the position on board.Technical and operational documentation:
Take notes as required throughout the 12-hour shift and perform a sufficient shift handover; Carry out Technicaland operational documentation; Carry out Toolbox Talks at the beginning of each shift as required by the project; Prepare, organise and complete planned maintenance in accordance with relevant checklists; Keep records of defects to assist in planning of re-fits and maintenance periods.
Ensure the planned maintenance system is correctly utilizedand always fully up to date; Follow OEM maintenance and operation procedures; Prepare technical reports if required.Logistics:
Endorse and adhere to pre-work and project equipment checklists as required; Ensure that adequate stocks of spares are maintained and or on order; Maintain high ethical standards within the team and with regards to communication; Ensure that new personnel and or trainees receive familiarisation on all ROV spreads, and are given adequate guidance and training, according to a planned development program.HSEQS:
Be familiar with and keep order in system documentation; Become acquaint on Company generic operational and administrative procedures; Adhere to and endorse Company rules and standards and use these in the everyday work; Promote awareness and understanding of HSE throughout the operation; High focus on reporting of incidents.
Hand in good and valid observation cards when required; Attend and be a resource during system audits; Knowledge and endorsement of Company and project KPI targets and performance; Familiarised in relevant IMCA and Company safety flash memos.EDUCATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONSPreferably bachelor degree in electric, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical or robotic engineering; Adecuate fluency inEnglish, spoken and written.
