RST Mechanical - Mechanical Engineer What You Will Do • Is responsible for providing maintenance methods, practices and techniques within the competence of their responsibilities and field of action • Perform preventive inspections in your MBU (Mini Business Unit) to ensure that the basic conditions of the equipment and mechanical components are maintained. • Makes sure you have the necessary tools to carry out maintenance work on your MBU. • Ensures the availability of technical documentation of your MBU. • Monitors and audits that maintenance activities are within standards [SAP orders, CIL (cleaning, inspection, lubrication)]. • Coordinates activities in corrective and preventive maintenance. • Is responsible for having the necessary spare parts and mechanical components in the inventory of the spare parts warehouse. • It is responsible for maintaining control of fixed costs of its production lines vs. Budget. • It is responsible for analyzing losses in your MBU due to mechanical failures. • Applies DDS (daily direction) and root cause analysis, as well as other troubleshooting tools to reduce losses in your MBU and generate new standards to feed systems. • Monitor and optimize the maintenance budget by prioritizing preventive and predictive maintenance. • Go to DOM meetings (daily operations meeting) with complete information (detailed and with evidence) on the results of the previous day, as well as alerted teams that prevent the continuity of the process. • Provides support, training and advice to operators in handling mechanical components of production lines. • Is capable of interpreting plans and diagrams in accordance with their responsibilities and field of action and permeating said knowledge. • Is responsible for complying with and enforcing safety and quality standards, procedures and policies. Who You Are Education: Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineer. Experience: More than 4 years in a similar position (essential) Experience: Knowledge of machine tools, especially in the grinding. Management of non-unionized and unionized personnel.
