Join us and we can make a difference together.About This Role: This is an excellent opportunity to evaluate and execute specific accounting activities to ensure they are in alignment with US GAAP and Corporate policies with a clear focus on financial reporting and internal control activities. In addition, this role will engage with internal and external business partners, Segment Controllership team members, and others on critical projects and processes to streamline and support RTR activities. You will be responsible for managing and executing specific RTR activities and processes to ensure quality results and reporting. As a key business partner, you will support accounting activities, manage the RTR team, and have responsibility for oversight of specific SOX results. This role will report to the RTR hub leadership.Support specific RTR functions and streamline processes while ensuring strong and uniform controls. This role engages in specific activities, partners with Carrier COE RTR team members to ensure delivery of quality and timely financial reporting with a strong focus on the internal control environment. This role is critical support for the RTR COE.Responsibilities:Manage and report on specific RTR activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisManage and report on specific controls activities including support of internal and external audit activitiesExecute RTR projects encompassing process enhancements to streamline activity and deliver best practices for RTRAbility to communicate and influence key internal and external business partnersManage accounting and controls for specific Carrier RTR activitiesEnsure accurate and timely financial results, monthly closing, and compliance activitiesConfirm procedures and controls are in alignment with US GAAP reporting requirements and corporate policiesManage and report on activities to include critical RTR activities around balance sheet and reconciliationManage and lead a team of skilled accountantsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA6+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance including prior management level experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with ERP systems (e.G
