Job Description - S-E-SE Harness Designer (HER0000AH) A global manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Harness Designer to join our team, located in Mexico. Harness Designer Designs and develops wiring systems with design tools and coordinates external service providers and internal development departments.
Tasks/Responsibilities: Defines and coordinates work packages for internal and external partners.Evaluates product change requests and provides solutions with focus on VAVE.Collects CAD data from the customer and forwards it to internal departments (according to the need-to-know principle).Coordinates changes, controls, and reports on status to internal and external parties.Identifies cost and efficiency improvements, e.g., Design for manufacturing or design to cost.Supports design reviews and takes part in quality and design activities (DFMEA, Design for Manufacturing, etc.).Works at LEONI and/or customers' location.Analyses and operates according to various requirements (customers, LEONI, IATF, etc.).Acts internally and externally as a contact person (e.g., for customers and suppliers).Your Profile: Degree in Engineering or related field.Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and prioritize tasks in multiple work streams while working in an international team.We are looking forward to meeting you!
