.The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Analyst coordinates activates related to monthly IBP process. This includes managing demand for forecasts in ERP as well as other authorized systems to support the company regarding strategic goals and monthly long-term planning:- Work with Sales and Commercial Teams to disaggregate revenue forecasts into operative demand signals.- Analyze, format, and communicate customer forecasts in support of Integrated Business Planning (aka S&OP, SIOP).- Supports the development of rolling 18-36 month sales plan at the appropriate level.- Execute demand planning strategies and methodologies.- Develops, measures, and reports key forecast accuracy metrics or performance such as forecast accuracy and bias, forecast error, customer service levels, and inventory levels or performance. Analyzes data to identify potential sources of forecast error.- Assists business planning teams with root-cause analysis as to why impacts have occurred.- Assists planning in analyzing the demand plans to develop a long-range capacity plan.- Supports business planning teams to modify ERP configurations in support of overall business strategies.- Collaborates with other functional areas on new product additions, transitions, phase-outs, end-of-life, or other product life cycle activities impacting strategic planning. Manages new product introduction process from the demand planning perspective and initiates projects and actions to assure the timely launch of new products.- Supports IBP Process Lead and IBP Manager in driving Integrated Business Planning (aka S&OP, SIOP) as well as supports Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supply Chain Operating Systems (SCOS) initiatives.Job requirements:- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (Business, Supply Chain, or Technical preferred). APICS/ISM/Supply Chain certification or willingness to complete APICS CPIM or CSCP certification program (or equivalent) within two years of employment is preferred.- A minimum 1-3 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain is desired. Will also consider relevant sales or customer service experience. Cable or electronic component experience highly desired.- Strong analytical skills and techniques, and/or software experience as well as Critical thinking and problem-solving capability.- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement preferred.- A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills.- An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.- Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
