.About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 12Position: Process Economics Program (PEP) - Associate DirectorThe Team:The Process Economics Program (PEP) develops conceptual designs and costs for processes used in chemical and energy industries.
You will be part of a global team, fast-paced and able to deliver important content and analytics to our readers regarding new and existing technologies.Responsibilities and Impact:Analyze and research chemical technologies independently.Assess the techno-economic performance of various technologies.Produce scheduled reports and reviews needed to support program commitments.Develop new ideas to help direct the program.Participate in other projects as needed.What We're Looking For:Basic Required Qualifications:Bachelor's/Masters/Ph.D.
in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering.15 or more years of experience in industrial organic chemistry research and publications and technology evaluation roles.Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.Additional Preferred Qualifications:Experience performing process economic evaluations.Experience with process simulators such as AspenTech, Promax, HYSYS, etc.
or using general tools to generate heat and mass balances.Demonstrated experience that indicates the ability to quickly learn and summarize and utilize extremely complex information from various sources including patents.Highly proficient use of internet search engines and other online technical databases for patent and literature searches is required.Return to Work:Have you taken time out for caring responsibilities and are now looking to return to work?
