.**Acerca de Apotex Inc.****Job Summary**:Achieve Sales & profit objectives for the region (affiliates and distributors) through defining, implementing, and controlling the commercial strategies, guarantee operational efficiency of the SACCA region, in the accordance with the company's policies and the guidelines agreed with the VP & General Manager and with the support of the other areas, Finance, Legal, Quality, Mktg and Portfolio, Supply Chain, RA, and HR.**Responsibilities**:- Achieve sales and profit objectives of the region (affiliates and distributors), through the management of the affiliate's employees and distributors personnel.- Define the current and future portfolio of the region, through market analysis in conjunction with supporting areas, to ensure the growth and sustainability of Apotex business. Resulting in growth of current portfolio, new products launch plan and products discontinuation when necessary- Manage budget expenses assigned, optimizing its investment, with the objective of maximizing results in sales and profit, in short and medium term.- Position Apotex according to the regional and global strategy, with clients and patients. Carrying out activities and campaigns that enhance the image of Apotex in the SACCA region.- Ensure the generation and implementation of development programs for affiliates staff, guaranteeing the development of their competencies and the growth of the Apotex business in the region.- Manage operation, work plans, and required investments to maintain every area in the region functioning in compliance with every regulation where we make business.- Escalate to Regional Office new projects, business opportunities, or identified risks with a business case and recommendation of next steps (by event if not in plan, or yearly in budgeting process).As People Leader (with direct reports)Recruit, train, develop and effectively manage the ongoing performance, which includes, but is not limited to:- Ensure all Job Descriptions for direct reports are periodically reviewed, signed and stored according to our global job description processes.- Review and update development plans for all direct reports, ensuring that all direct reports are properly trained and qualified according to our Global Training and Employee Qualification Enterprise Policy.- Effectively manage performance for direct reports according to the Global Performance Management Program,- Attract and retain talent based on our talent management framework.- Schedule regular one-on-one meetings, probationary performance reviews and mid-year performance discussions.- Provide regular coaching, feedback and recognition based on the expected behaviors, job description and performance on objectives; and- Responsible to ensure compliance of team members (direct reports) with the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies
