Kiewit Mexico is currently looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our team of construction and engineering professionals in Mexico. As a Safety Coordinator for Kiewit, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and customers across our different projects. This position offers an opportunity to make a difference while growing your career in the construction industry.**Responsibilities**:- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and OSHA regulations.- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites and equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.- Provide safety training and education to employees and subcontractors on proper safety practices, use of personal protective equipment, and emergency procedures.- Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.- Work closely with project managers and site superintendents to ensure that safety policies and procedures are followed, and that safety goals are achieved.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety reports, training, and incident investigations.- Collaborate with other departments and external organizations to promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with industry standards.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or equivalent engineering program- 10+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.- Ability to assess hazards and develop effective safety measures.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.- Availability to travel to different job sites across Mexico.**Benefits**Savings fund, grocery vouchers, Christmas bonus higher than the law, Vacations and vacation bonus higher than the law, Insurance for Major Medical Expenses, Dental and Visual.
