We're currently looking for a Safety Engineer to join our growing team of engineering and ergonomics professionals. Details about the role are as follows:
- The ability to report project status accurately and in timely fashion to manager level management

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform other miscellaneous safety functions
- Engage and lead the Manufacturing Engineer team on tooling and facility safety Risk Assessment.
- Compile necessary documentation "Evidence Book"
- Following procedures, conduct design review and sign-off of Racks for safety and ergonomics
- Support Safety team in global safety process and training development and administration.
- Support the plant safety team to review and approve all ECPL Placards for new and/or modified equipment utilizing the PACT software
- Coordinate and track all Protag buyoffs
- Complete plant floor buy-offs utilizing the Protag procedure in accordance with specific procedures
- Use of the tools governed by the Vehicle Operations safety procedures and standards, including but not limited to; HIRAP, Risk Assessment, Placarding.
- Follow up on new equipment installation and ensure all safety items are addressed.
- Program metrics, utilizing the standard performance metric formats.
- Perform tooling/machine and facility safety analyses as needed to support the zero RED safety issues initiative
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor on Industrial, Mechanical, electromechanical, mechatronics or similar
- Safety Engineer
- Minimum 3-year experience in the area of safety
- Detailed knowledge of automotive processes and toolsets as Electric, Mechanical, Civil Protection
- English language at medium - advanced level
- Automotive customer portals knowledge
- Experience in Automotive industry company
- Experience in blocking and energy management practices, installation of machinery.
