Role responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Prepare Deluge, foam and hydraulic calculations, create fire protection and safety piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs), passive and active fire protection, fire suppresión, flame / heat / smoke and gas detection and safety layouts, specifications, data.
- Utilizes industry codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, CFR, NOMS, CFE, PEMEX, ASME, API, ANSI) to complete assignments that are large and/or complex.
- Consults others when encountering advanced or co Perform / check design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.
- Prepare / check hydraulic calculations using the required software (PipeNET, Fathom, etc.)
- Develop process safety activities, safety studies, plot plan reviews, constructability reviews, etc.
- Responsible for defining safety studies scope and coordination, execution and all the related required activities in estimates and projects.
- Use the project schedule for issue dates and able to provide forecast information to lead.
- Collaborate with all the local and global initiatives including oher Kiewit districts and assignations.
- Utilze the appropiate Kiewit resources (procedures, toolboxes, softwares) to create deliverables and manage projects.
- Capable of reviewing vendor information to coordinate engineering related items on equipment, identify issues with vendor documents and works to resolve.
- Performs shop drawing reviews, providing mark-ups and specifying action.
- Provide Field Support during construction, commissioning and testing phases.
- Coordinates with engineers, client representatives, and other disciplines for design completeness.
- Coordinate with other engineers assigned to the project or a task, and reviews work progress and results.
- Attend design review meetings with clients and v Lead/check activities in projects, provide support to other disciplines, management and client.
- Be the responsible Engineer for the vendor contracts administration.
- Prepare MH estimates, staffing plans and all the management activities for projects and estimates.
- Develops team members to reach potential and act as a resource for troubleshooting, innovative solutions, team support.
- Builds and develops high performance teams.
- Prepare technical bid evaluation for all Safety equipment Identify and prepare change orders in projects execution.
- The most important things to pay attention to in this role are: Is required to have full accountability for decision making and deliverables.
- Responsible of Mid-complex Systems and Critical Systems.

- May develop and deliver training on most mechanical systems and equipment.
- Working Conditions Fast-paced district office and project field environment; must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management while simultaneously manage a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively; regularly sit, stand, walk and talk and listen.
- Travel in Mexico and internationally as needed.
