.**Safety Analyst.****_Who we're looking for_**- Company's North America Production Engineering Safety Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Contractor **Safety Representative** for Company Manufacturing in Baja California in Tijuana, Mexico.- The primary responsibility of this role is to lead all aspects of contractor safety program to ensure team **member safety and regulatory compliance**.- You will be required balance company-wide operational hoshin priorities with the obligation to team member safety and compliance through the translation of complex safety regulatory interpretations into actionable instructions and development of technically accurate, standardized safety policies, standards, and programs.- Reporting to the Production Engineering Safety Manager for the Western Region, the person in this role will support Company Safety department's objective to prioritize safety through standardization, achieve best safety performance, and an incident free workplace.**_What you'll be doing_**- Work with and direct contractors to implement construction safety management systems and other safety requirements.- Provide safety leadership for both new and existing construction projects including structural steel, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, etc.- Lead weekly contractor safety representatives' meetings made up of trades working on site.- Conduct formal safety audits of activities related to construction and equipment installation.- Review contractor JSA's to confirm completeness and accuracy of work being performed.- Lead, support and participate in key safety initiatives.- Manage multiple reports for local, regional, and regulatory agencies, and internal/global reporting.- Calculate risks and challenge the status quo with deep analysis of the situation.- Develop and present PowerPoint presentations to communicate incident reports, work rule changes, plant status, etc.**Requirements**:- **Bilingual in both Spanish and English**:- **Minimum of 5 years of experience leading safety on construction projects with multiple trades.**:- Demonstrated experience managing projects requiring critical thinking (kaizen), problem solving, data analysis & verification- **Required - OSHA 30 Construction Industry Outreach Program (U.S.)**:- **Required - OSHA 510 Construction Industry Standards (U.S.)**:- **Required - Knowledge of applicable consensus standards i.E.,** NFPA** 70E/CSA** Z462 ,**:- **Required - Knowledge of Mexican standards pertaining to construction such as** STPS-NOM-031-2011** ,** STPS-NOM-009-2011, STPS-NOM-027-2011, NOM-031-STPS-2011, NOM-009-STPS-2011, and NOM-027-STPS-2008**:- Preferred - A recognized, independent third-party safety certification.
