**Responsibilities**:- Call on, Qualify, Develop, Follow-up, Quote and Close service sales opportunities.- Help to develop strategic plans to displace competition and introduce Omron Services at our most important accounts.- Create and deliver innovative presentations to new prospects on Omron's safety service capabilities.- Communicate regularly with regional and industry sales teams to collaborate on strategic activities and successes to instill a sense of accomplishment and positive momentum behind our service sales efforts.- Maintain professional relationships with clients and work cross-functionally with the engineering/marketing/account management teams to devise solutions and support for Omron's local and national clients- Assist in machine safeguarding evaluations.- Conduct Safety Training Classes.- Guest Speak at various Safety Conferences (ASSE,PMMI,RI,etc.
)- Provide monthly feedback that includes significant activities/wins from the previous month along with expectations of revenue for upcoming months.
Also include market/customer trends and competitive feedback.- Help to develop strategic plans to displace competition.- Utilize CRM to provide updates on all activities relative to those accounts you are helping develop and support.- Travel 40%-50% of the time (international).- Provide a commitment to internal & external customer service.- Represent Omron in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner.- Represents the Omron Guiding Principles through personal and business interactions with employees, customers, distributors, and colleagues.
**Requirements**:- Bachelor of Science, Electrical, or Mechanical in Engineering from a four year college or related technical school.- Two (2) years of experience with public speaking.- A proven track record (5+ years) of closing $500K+ orders by working with various levels of an organization from project engineers to manufacturing management to Operations Managers and Executives.- Ability to manage a long term sales cycles lasting up to 24 months.- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and MS Project.- Energetic, aggressive, focused and a highly motivated self-starter.- Strong relationship builder and a strong personal desire to win.- Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally with strong organizational skills.- Team player mentality but able to work independently as required.- Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills (written and oral).- Approximately 50% travel.
