**What You Will Do**:
- Oversee and provide direction for the following business segment in Safety and Risk programs:
- Contractor safety (Work permit process)
- Industrial Hygiene (Safety Rules)
- Emergency Management and Response (Brigades and Fire system)
- Incident Reporting and Investigations
- Process Safety Management
- Risk Assessments, Hazard Identification, Inspections and Audits (Job Safety procedures, training)
- Safety & Health - Training / Trends / Goals / Initiatives
- Develop, analyze, and implement goals, ideas, and opportunities that support the continuous improvement of company Safety & Health performance.
- Interact with all levels of the organization to ensure identified Safety and Health goals and objectives are met and administrated.
- Interact with Support Services, Operating and Maintenance personnel to develop Safety and Health training material and programs.
- Supervise and guide employees by providing direction and support as required.
- Maintain, revise, update and/or prepare Safety and Health policies and procedures as required.
- Analyze, review, monitor and/or prepare reports and information including but not limited to:
- Statistics & trend data (Gensuite System)
- Metrics including RESH goals.
- Safety & Health assessments and/or audits
**Who You Are**:
- Bachelor's Degree, Engineering preferred, or other related field related.
Work Experience
- Experience in manufacturing facilities. At least 3 years.
- English language (intermediate)
- Experience and knowledge of Safety & Health laws and local regulations. Preferred in OSHA standard or EU standard.
- Experience with Fire systems water based (preferred Insurance audits).
- Experience leading Fire Brigade and training.
- Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software (MS Office, Power BI, Power apps, etc.)
- Experience reading and interpreting policies, procedures, trend data, reports, safety manuals, correspondence, governmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Experience interacting, collaborating, advising and communicating effectively.
- Experience developing information and preparing presentations.
