BASIC FUNCTION
Under the direction of the Mgr- EHS & Security, is responsible for developing and coordinating the implementation of safety, hygiene, and ergonomic programs at the facility.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate the efforts of the safety committee.Coordinate the efforts of the ergonomics committee.Participate in the incidents investigation process.Provide follow-up to the implementation of the corrective actions derived from the incidents investigation process.Provide training to the associates involved in the incidents investigation process.Perform the incidents analysis.Develop the planned safety inspections.Participate in the safety inspection process.Provide follow-up to the implementation of the corrective actions to eliminate/control the hazards identified through the safety inspection process.Provide training to the associates involved in the safety inspection process.Participate in the annual Corporate Compliance Inspections.Provide follow-up to the completion of the annual Corporate Compliance Inspections.Perform the PPE Assessment of the job positions.Participate in the creation/review of the Job Safety Analysis (SOP/JSA).Provide training to the associates involved in the SOP/JSA process.Participate in the certification of the drivers of PIVs.SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Preference Bachelor's Degree.
EXPERIENCE: Preference 4 - 7 years' work experience in safety, hygiene, and ergonomics.
FORMATION: Preference English. Preference Knowledge of Microsoft Windows based software applications.
