Safety Specialist, Senior

Manage programs, processes and trainings related to Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental, Property Security, and business continuity plan in coordination with supervisors, contractors, visitors and general employees to ensure compliance with BorgWarner standards.
- Ensure compliance with desired health, environmental and safety objectives.
- To account for the effectiveness of the processes and personnel under their control to their immediate manager.
- Develop the design and development of procedures involving BorgWarner personnel and operations to reduce incidents, accidents, injuries and occupational illnesses.
As well as environmental aspects and impacts.
- Promote Health, Safety and Environmental awareness in the organization through communication and training of employees, suppliers, contractors and visitors.
- Manage the environmental and occupational health and safety context of the organization.
- Manage the identification of safety, health and environmental needs and expectations of stakeholders.
- Manage the identification of safety and environmental risks and opportunities.
- Develop, training programs on safety, hygiene, emergency response, legal requirements, hazardous materials and related topics.
- Ensure that programs meet or exceed legal requirements of STPS, Civil Protection, Municipal Ecology, State Ecology and SEMARNAT through training, auditing and implementation of corrective actions to promote continuous improvement.
- Attend to authorities in matters of safety, health and environment.
