Job Summary Responsible for the profitable sales growth of SABIC's ETP and PP Portfolio in the automotive industry in Mexico. Requires engagement with Tier suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to understand the product positioning and sales value. Prospects for new business to increase resins sales within an assigned territory. Negotiates prices and contracts aligned with OEM vehicle specifications. Responsible for the full sales cycle to grow volume sales and maintain high levels of product differentiation and premium in the automotive market. Lead Mexico automotive operational excellence and improvement.
Responsibilities: Manage customer accounts (potentially including distribution channels) in Mexico Automotive region, with a sales territory of 3KT, understanding the key customer decision makers from a qualification perspective. (40%)Prospect for new business to increase resins sales within an assigned territory. Understand key trends, new product innovations, and domestic and global markets executing on both sales and pipeline build. (25%)Negotiate pricing and customer agreements. (10%)Work with Credit to establish customer credit limits and make recommendations to management for credit limit amounts. (5%)Analyze areas to improve operational efficiency, covering key processes the commercial team is engaged with. Develop and implement improved processes, tactics, and accounting to align stakeholders, increase efficiency, and elevate the customer experience. (20%)Requirements: BS/BA Business/Marketing/Technical Degree3-5 Years of Sales Experience in Automotive segment or Plastic Industry.Understanding of customer service, logistics, and planning processes as they interface with our sales teams and distribution channels.High level of self-confidence: Ability to network and leverage all levels of an organization to gain support.Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proven track record of delivering results.Strong Business Acumen.Technical and commercial aptitude required to position SABIC materials and application solutions.Eligibility Requirements: You must submit your application for employment online to be considered.
