.Job Background / Business ContextThis role focuses on leading the Mexican SS Sales and Services business, servicing approximately 100+ clients, successfully developing and executing the strategy and plans for growing the business franchise in Mexico.Key Responsibilities:Lead the SS business in Mexico by designing and executing client strategy and increasing market share.Execute relevant and targeted sales campaigns and drive relevant thought leadership content across segments.Create and maintain an active pipeline of relevant opportunities.Drive new business mandates by working effectively with product, operations and technology partners as well as other Citi partners in Banking, Markets and Services to drive a high win rate of deals.Work closely with product partners across Securities Services to provide market/client feedback for product enhancement/development and service model design to maximize sales effectiveness.Partner with Operations & Technology to assure product delivery within global standards.Build and maintain strong partnerships and alignment among the Global Sales, Coverage and Service organization and work closely with product Heads to ensure full alignment.Assess the competition, define and implement all actions needed to protect and maintain current market leadership position and customer retention.Participate in various industry events in Mexico related to SS products.Have ownership and management oversight for the Client P&L, direct expense, while optimizing RWA, driving client profitability and growing business drivers.Instill a culture of ever greater ethical and responsible behavior built upon a strong foundation of regulatory compliance.Responsibility/accountability before local legal vehicle.Work with our functional partners in 1st and 2nd line to adhere to local regulatory environment and LV's responsibilities.Ensure delivery of SS Client VoC, R&C, VOE, Diversity and Transformation.Drive the overall customer centric experience. The individual will be the senior lead contact for our key clients.Attract, motivate and retain top talent. Focus on building and maintaining a high performing team.Create and maintain a diverse, inclusive and well balanced employee population.Qualifications:Proven track record of successfully managing a large and complex business.An accomplished Sales person who understands the Custody and Investor Services businesses, and has the ability and drive to motivate business and team performance.15+ years Sales & Service and relationship management experience with in-depth knowledge in Securities Services.Results-driven person with very strong communication skills.Strong and demonstrated leadership skills managing a diverse team with the ability to motivate and influence; foster innovation.Strategic mindset and deep commercial acumen required.Executive presence.Highly collaborative working style.Adapt at managing in a highly matrix environment
