Job Description: Develops, implements and deploys process and tools related to calculation of sales commissions. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of commission payments as outlined in the plan and in accordance to policy. Calculates commission/incentive award payments to sales employees based on commission plan provisions. Investigates and resolves commission claims and account reconciliation issues. Interfaces with other job functions in the preparation of Sales commission reports, using reporting and analytics for presentations and recommendations for sales and/or finance management.
Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
How you´ll make your mark: Focal Point of contact for a given sales population (100-130 sales employees)Accountable for the accuracy of the quota attainment and incentive payment for their assigned sales populationAddressing escalations with the support of the BC Lead if requiredActive participation with the BC Lead on sharing the needed information to generate the scorecardCollaborate and coordinate incident resolution with Sales Compensation stakeholders such as Sales Strategy & Planning (SS&P), Finance, HR, Sales team and other organizationsAll BC Tasks emails should be actioned based on predefined deadlinesPerform weekly performance analysis (QA diff +25%) and complete WPR in LiveReadiness on Monday EODPerform payment and liability weekly and monthly analysisEscalate credit/pay issues to Sales Comp Ops, BAMs and Management when requiredValidate, trigger, monitor and follow up Watchlist & ICR cases and properly save all documentation in the toolReview, monitor and escalate Sales Letter acceptance status on a weekly basisTrigger, perform and validate credit and payment exception requests in order to secure accuracy on the incentive calculation.Provide timely and proper response and follow up over Sales Compensation topics raised by Managers, Sales Reps and other teams on any Ask Sales Comp case and emails.Determine performance and pay impact caused by diverse emergent situations (e.g. Data flow corrections, Comp Plan updates, reverse and refeed of business data feed, etc.). Provide timely visibility to the affected employees and/or managers when necessaryAccountable of Open MyComp to Sales (OTS) and generation of the First Incentive Payment (FIP) following the Business Controls defined on BC Tasks.About you: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalentTypically 4-6 years experienceExperience administering and maintaining sales commission plans, tools and systemsAbility to apply analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.Understanding of sales commission plans and practicesStrong written and verbal communication skillsMastery in English and local languageAbility to effectively communicate sales commission plans, proposals, and results and negotiate optionsAdditional Skills: Accountability, Active Learning, Active Listening, Business, Coaching, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Cross-Functional, Design Thinking, Empathy, Follow-Through, Group Problem Solving, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, Interprets Data, Long Term Planning, Managing Ambiguity, Operational Performance, Operations Processes, Personal Initiative, Process Changes, Process Improvements, Sales.
