Important German company in the industrial sector, with more than 20 years of experience in the market, is looking for your talent as a Sales Director.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, technic or engineering or similar field.Minimum of 10 years of automotive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales management role. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Experience in strategic sales planning, customer relationship management, and team leadership. Experiences in injection molding technology (f.e. plastic parts with metals inserts). Advanced understanding of product calculation and costing. Soft skills:. Leadership, Communication, Negotiation, Analytical, Data-driven, decision-making, problem-solving.
Main activities: Sales: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and profitability targets. Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to deliver exceptional sales performance. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and create action plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to optimize sales performance. Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging trends, and competitive landscape. Responsible for marketing as trade shows, exhibitions, etc Project Management: Supervise the project management team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Implement and optimize project management processes and methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency. Monitor and report on project performance, identifying risks and issues, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
