Directing the sales of Microscan ID and Vision Systems within Mexico.
Participate in the selection and development of Microscan products within the Distribution Channels in Mexico including Value Added Distributors/Resellers and System Integrators.
Also responsible for maximizing opportunities and achieving targeted share of spend at key accounts.
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Planning and managing the company's sales efforts within assigned region.
- Participation in the selection and training of sales channels including Value Added Distributors/Resellers and System Integrators.
- Developing and executing strategic and tactical plans to maximize opportunities and achieve targeted share of spend at key accounts (including OEM and end user accounts) within region.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with channel partners sales and key personnel at targeted accounts.
- Developing knowledge of targeted markets and applicable Microscan technology and products.
- Presenting company's products and technologies emphasizing benefits to targeted customer base.
- Qualifying, distributing and following up on sales leads and developing/managing the opportunity pipeline for the region.
- Preparing sales forecasts and reports and participating in the determination of market potential and preparation of sales expense estimates for the region.
- Supporting peers as may be requested by Advanced Sensing Sales Manager.

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:
- Bachelor of Science, Electrical, or Mechanical in Engineering from a four-year college or related technical school.
- Knowledge of advanced sensing products: Vision, ID and Verification
- Knowledge of interaction between Vision systems and Robots/Cobots
- Knowledge of automation products involving Safety, Servo and Motion control, PLCs, etc.
- Knowledge of communications platforms: Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, motion bus networks, Mechatrolink, DeviceNet, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and MS Project.
- Ability to display leadership characteristics and able to motivate other individuals.
- Ability to share detailed technical information in an easy to understand manner working in a consultative manner with customers.
- Energetic, aggressive, focused and a highly motivated self-starter.
- Strong relationship builder and a strong personal desire to win.
- Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally with strong organizational skills.
- Team player mentality but able to work independently as required.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills (written and oral).
- Approximately 60% travel.
