**NEW MILLENNIUM JOIST & DECK DE MEXICO****Solicita**:**Sales Engineer****Descripción y Requisitos****Position: Sales Engineer** Work Schedule: Full time- Reports To: Sales Manager**Location/Division New Millennium - Juarez, MX****Department: Sales**Pay Grade/Pay Rate: Salary (based on experience)**Brief DeEscrituraion**:Supports the sales department to make sure interpretation and input of products, design loads and other critical data are properly prepared for estimating.
The Sales Engineer also keeps open communication with the engineering department to make sure the most up to date design practices are considered.
Also, establishes and maintains relationships with key players in design and engineering community with Juarez territory.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:- Assist sales team with technical knowledge to complete estimates and quotes.- Value engineering to help NMBS and key customers be competitive on larger projects.- Point person for questions from estimators and coordinators.- Assist the sales supervisor with implementing processes and procedures for estimating and data entry.- Provide joists estimates when necessary- Troubleshoot scope issues with estimator and review drawings to help find issues we have at bid time.- Travel with DSM to visit customers and engineering firms to support efforts in key markets and upload to salesforce.- Must be able to understand deadlines and operate effectively under pressure in a sometimes fast paced environment.- Regular meetings with all sales engineers to discuss ongoing tasks and platform wide initiatives.- Engage the design community.
Gain design community insights and give lunch and learns when necessary.- Attend local and national trade shows each year to gain insights into the marketplace.**Required**?
B.S in Civil or Structural Engineering- ?
Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.- ?
Excellent written and verbal communication skills- ?
