SE is an integral part of the sales organization and assists the sales team with pre-sales technical knowledge, presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and POVs.
They work closely with sales managers, prospects, and partners as a subject-matter expert to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements.The Sales Engineer is also responsible for interacting and maintaining the partners and distributors SEs knowledge, relationships, and supporting them in the selling of Imperva solutions, as well as guiding them in post-sales engagements.Responsibilities:Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits, providing product demonstrations in person and remotely, and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how Imperva's solutions deliver value to them.Manage the Regional Strategic Partner Engineering community and help address technical needs.Aid in the creation, evaluation, and answering of RFI/RFPs considering competitive information and key advantages of Imperva's solutions.Jointly design, agree, and execute commercial strategy with the Imperva Account Executive or Executives assigned to the same region.Participate with field-based feedback in shaping the products SWOT analysis for the region, as well as managing Requests for Enhancement and engaging with Product Management and Product Development when needed.Work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches to develop business.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor´s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related fields.8+ years of experience working in sales engineering, network security, development, pre-sales engineering, or real-world use of database and/or web application solutions
