**POSITION OVERVIEW**
This position will be responsible for new sales growth, day-to-day client account management, and training for customers in Guadalajara and some areas in the north of Mexico.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Sales Engineer's primary job responsibilities will include:
- In cooperation with the Sales Leadership, develop a prospecting and new commercial dealer acquisition strategy.
Identify and target prospect dealers across different channels with a large subscriber base, interested in smart home/business interactive solutions.
- Providing valuable ongoing product support and training to partners via webinar and on-site.
- Lifecycle Account management; identifying potential new partners in the region, engaging and launching new accounts, and providing ongoing local support for mutual business growth.
- Lead and execute the onboarding process for new partners.
This includes commercial and technical training as well as initial setup.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Located in Guadalajara, Mexico
- BA or BS, Engineering, Math, Sciences or Business preferred
- The ability to communicate in English with vendors and internal teams, both in writing and verbally, in a clear, professional manner
- A self-starter who can operate independently.
- Proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of consumer, cloud, and IoT technology
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability and commitment to meet deadlines, even during high volume periods
- Flexible and positive attitude that fosters team spirit
- Availability to travel up to 30% within Mexico
- Experience with the following is a plus: Electronic security, access control, home automation, or video over IP
- 3-5 years of experience in outside sales (consultative and Business 2 Business sales is a plus)
- Drives results: proven history of increasing revenue, closing new accounts, and successfully growing accounts.
Ability to sell concepts and value-added services a plus
